Welcome to your September horoscope! This month begins with two profound shifts from the outer planets that stir revelations on both a personal and collective level. Uranus, planet of originality and sudden change, goes retrograde in Taurus on the 1st. On the same day, Pluto, planet of deep transformation, moves back into Capricorn. Pluto, which takes 250 years to go around the zodiac, has been in Aquarius since January, but through November 19thwill return to Capricorn to finish up an epic story that began in 2008. Past and future timelines are very much alive right now and playing off of each other. Whether you’re feeling nostalgic or future tripping, It’s easy to get pulled in one direction or another. If you want my professional opinion though, the best thing to do is stay present.
On a simpler note, the new moon in Virgo on the 2nd is a for taking something that has gotten way too complicated and breaking it up into manageable tasks. Grab your bullet journal and get to work. Mercury, no longer retrograde thank goddess, enters Virgo on the 9th, allowing us to get back to a project we started in late July and early August.
Mars enters Cancer on the 4th where the action planet is a master of emotional labor, making moves based on feelings. Due to an upcoming retrograde, Mars, which usually spends only six weeks in a sign, will be in Cancer for all of September and October, as well as in January through April 2025. Whatever’s on your to do list now may not be completed until next spring. Be patient and trust the process. This is only the beginning.
Mid-month, things take a turn toward the mystical (or in some cases, the chaotic) peaking with a lunar eclipse in oceanic Pisces on the 17th. This is a very potent full moon that forces us to face sudden endings and climaxes with heart and compassion. Things might feel like they’re spinning out of control with no grounding around this eclipse, but there’s also great power in taking risks with magical thinking.
