1. Marriott
One of the most sought-after hotel brands, a stay at the Marriot means you’re getting the most bang for your buck since the hotel chain is known for unbeatable food, top tier resort amenities and exceptional service. This year’s Black Friday deal is available through the Marriot Bonvoy program—which was launched back in 2019 and replaced Marriott Rewards, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) loyalty brands.
Deal: For 2021, customers will be able to save 25 percent off their stay at one of Marriott’s participating resorts if they book for three nights or more.
2. Graduate Hotels
So your favorite cousin couldn’t make it to your house for Thanksgiving this year because she’s studying at a university far away, but you can bring the spirit of the holiday to her when you stay at one of these unique properties courtesy of Graduate Hotels. They give travelers comfortable accommodations in university communities across the country. We’re talking Bloomington, IN; Knoxville, TN; and Roosevelt Island, just to name a few.
Deal: The company was docking 50 percent off bookings last holiday season, and we’re hoping they’ll do the same this year. Cousin Molly has to taste Aunt Sally’s famed mac and cheese, exams be damned.
3. Collective Retreats
For those who’d prefer to be one with nature, Collective Retreats has a plethora of outdoorsy excursions for you to pick from. Gone are the days when camping meant shacking up in a rusty tent with mosquitos gnawing at you all night long. This luxury outdoor company gives their customers the VIP camping experience fit with breathtaking views, gourmet culinary experiences and once-in-a-lifetime activities, you’ll think you’re in a five-star hotel.
Deal: Last year, they were offering 40 percent off accommodations at their Collective Hill Country, Collective Vail and Collective Governors Island locations.
4. The Meritage Collection
Who doesn’t love a multi-layered deal that continues to give? With multiple locations in Napa, La Jolla, Huntington Beach and Kauai, The Meritage Collection has five luxury resorts in California and Hawaii.
Deal: The luxe accommodation brand made sure you forgot all 2020 woes offering a 21 percent discount when you booked a two-night stay at any of their hotels last year. Not only that, but they doubled down on the savings by giving $21 daily food and beverage credit. Fingers crossed we can expect more of the same this year.
5. New England Inns & Resorts
Maybe you don’t particularly care for the northeast, but you have a loved one who has a palate for clam chowder. Well, you can simply gift them a stay at one of these pristine accommodations courtesy of New England Inns & Resorts if 2020’s deals are anything to go by.
Deal: Last year, they gave customers a $50 promotional gift card with the purchase of a $250 gift card and a $100 gift card with the purchase of a $500 gift card. The best part was that the purchased gift cards do not expire so your friend or loved one can use it to book a stay at their convenience.
