Between the rise of striped backyard decor and the launch of the new Béis summer collection, I'm officially declaring it a Cabana Girl summer. While I may not have a trip to any IRL equivalents of the White Lotus planned (...yet), I'm already dreaming of days spent lounging under a canopy by some fabulous resort pool with an Aperol spritz in one hand and a chic Béis beach bag by my side. Such is the power of good design.

And Béis is brimming with it. The luggage label by actress Shay Mitchell has gained cult status for a reason, most notably due to its TikTok-famous Weekender bag ($108), which has even earned a stamp of approval from my fellow PureWow editors. Needless to say, the brand's latest launch doesn't disappoint. The vacation-ready collection features hardshell suitcases in a sunny new hue (from $218), fresh mesh-accented beach totes ($78), and even cute crossbodies to hold your water bottle ($48). But, of course, I have my sights firmly set on the selection of Mini Weekenders in the new cabana-inspired striped pattern ($114).

Presently available in new Honey yellow and Maple brown stripes (the black and white is on backorder, but you can sign up for the waitlist), the smaller version of the famous duffel bag boasts all the same functional features folks love about the original Weekender—a wide wire-frame opening, a plethora of pockets, a trolley sleeve and, of course, a bottom zip compartment for storing shoes—just with a more compact footprint. (The standard bag measures 19 inches long, 9.8 inches wide and 15.7 inches high, while the mini clocks in at 16.15 inches long, 7.8 inches wide and 15.75 inches high.) While it should fit perfectly under a plane seat as a personal item, plenty of shoppers confirm that it's still spacious enough to pack for multi-day trips.

Since it's constructed of 100 percent polyester, complete with a water-resistant coating on the bottom compartment, it's no wonder buyers rave about its durability, too. Just hear what this flight attendant has to say: "It’s the best bag for work as a flight attendant. It lasted me four years, [so] those who don’t travel as often I would [should] expect the bag to last longer than mine did!"

If you, like me, can't resist a cute matchy-matchy moment while traveling, you might also want to scoop up the striped versions of the Belt Bag ($58) and brand new Vacation Tote ($128), a zipper-topped bag full of smart design details (including water bottle pockets and an elastic key leash) to make beach-going a breeze.
