Kofta Sliders with Lemon Garlic Aioli

Average ()

Hanan Qasem of @hypegirlhealth turns her favorite Middle Eastern dish into a fun slider board with a homemade lemon garlic aioli made with Heinz Mayonnaise. Once the meat is cooked, add all the toppings to a board for everyone to assemble their own slider. Don't forget to top them with Heinz Ketchup or Mustard.

Ingredients

Lemon Garlic Aioli

⅓ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice

Splash of vinegar

2 garlic cloves, chopped

½ teaspoon kosher salt, plus more to taste

¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, plus more to taste

Kofta Sliders

1 pound ground chuck (or 80 percent lean/20 percent fat)

1 onion, grated on a box grater

1 cup chopped fresh parsley

2 garlic cloves

2 teaspoons kosher salt

1 teaspoon baharat (Lebanese 7 spice blend) or allspice

½ teaspoon cumin

Directions

1. Make the aioli: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, vinegar, garlic, salt and pepper. Refrigerate until ready to use.

2. Make the kofta sliders: In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, onion, parsley, garlic, salt, baharat and cumin until combined.

3. Form the meat mixture into 10 mini patties.

4. Grill or pan-fry the patties until they reach your preferred doneness, or about 5 minutes per side. Serve with the lemon garlic aioli.
