Fall Turkey Club
What’s better than a turkey club? A fall turkey club. Yes, that means cranberries are involved. Enjoy bacon, roast turkey, sautéed kale and a cranberry-mayo spread between toasted slices of Sara Lee® Artesano™ Potato Bakery Bread.
Ingredients
1 strip bacon, chopped
½ teaspoon chopped fresh sage
2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
¾ cup kale, roughly chopped
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon cranberry sauce
2 slices Sara Lee Artesano Potato Bread, 20oz
3 slices roast turkey
Directions
1. In a small skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp, 8 to 10 minutes. Add the sage and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add the olive oil and kale, and season with salt and pepper. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook until the kale is tender, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a bowl and set aside.
2. In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise and cranberry sauce.
3. To assemble the sandwich, spread the cranberry mayo, sautéed kale and sliced turkey between two slices of toasted bread.
