Ingredients

1 sheet frozen puff pastry (227g), thawed (store-bought or homemade)

2 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon fresh chopped chives

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

2. In a medium bowl, stir together the Sabra Roasted Garlic Hummus, cream cheese, chives, salt and pepper to combine. Set aside.

3. On a lightly floured surface, unfold the puff pastry and roll out to flatten slightly. Spread the hummus-cream-cheese mixture into a thin, even layer on top of the puff pastry. Cut the pastry into 1-inch wide strips (about 18 even strips). Twist each strip into a spiral. (This part can be a little messy but just do your best.) Transfer the spirals to the prepared baking sheets, pinching the ends down if they try to unravel. Chill for 20 minutes.

4. Transfer the twists to the oven and bake until golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool slightly before eating.

Note: You can also use leftover pie dough in place of the puff pastry. If, at any point, the puff pastry feels too soft, transfer to the fridge to chill for 10 minutes before continuing.
