What’s that? You’ve never heard of jarcuterie? Well, you’re in for a treat. Also known as a “graze bouquet,” it’s basically a single-serve charcuterie board recipe packed into a tiny jar. And like fruicuterie and breakfast boards, these little cups aren’t limited to meat and cheese. Behold the candy land jarcuterie, our sweet-tooth take on the trend.

Feel free to use these ingredients as a jumping-off point to customize your own candy jarcuterie as you please. Just keep in mind a few logistics: When assembling a jar, place studier ingredients on the bottom to hold any skewered items securely. Soft ingredients can go on top, and thin, soft items (like sour candy belts) can be affixed to bamboo skewers for height. You’re really only limited by what’s available in your candy aisle, so go wild.

Ingredients

¼ cup white chocolate- or yogurt-covered pretzels, plus more as needed

8 to 10 fun-size or mini candy bars (such as mini Twix), unwrapped

6 to 8 sour candy belts (such as Haribo Sour Streamers)

Bamboo skewers, as needed

Handful of sour gummies (such as Sour Patch Watermelons)

2 or 3 lollipops (such as Tootsie Pops), unwrapped

Directions

1. In a small cup or jar, layer the pretzels in the bottom, followed by the mini candy bars. Use enough of each to fill the jar almost to the top.

2. Fold the sour candy belts lengthwise like an accordion, then poke a bamboo skewer through the center of each candy belt. Arrange the skewers in the cup, nestling them into the pretzels and candy bars.

3. Arrange the lollipops in the cup with the skewered candy belts, then top with a handful of sour gummies.
