Baileys Original Irish Cream Eggnog Latte

Average ()

If you celebrate the holiday season without having eggnog, did you even really celebrate? Eggnog is a quintessential part of the most wonderful time of the year. To bring this festive drink to the next level, we’ve created a latte version: Eggnog and whipped cream are infused with Baileys Original Irish Cream and poured over hot espresso. You’ll never want the plain store-bought version again.

Ingredients

Eggnog Latte

1½ cups (350ml) store-bought or homemade eggnog

¾ cup (177ml) milk

2 ounces (60ml) hot espresso

Bailey’s Whipped Cream

¾ cup (177ml) heavy whipping cream

1 tablespoon Baileys Original Irish Cream

2 teaspoons confectioners’ sugar

Freshly grated nutmeg (optional)

Directions

1. Make the latte: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the Baileys Original Irish Cream, eggnog and milk and bring to a simmer.

2. Make the whipped cream: Using an electric mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, whip the cream on high speed until foamy. Slowly add the confectioners’ sugar and whisk to medium peaks. Whisk in the Baileys Original Irish Cream.

3. Pour 1 ounce of the hot espresso into each mug, then pour in the hot milk mixture.

4. Top each drink with a dollop of the whipped cream and a sprinkle of freshly grated nutmeg, if using.
