Prettiest Avocado Toast with Chili Oil

Classic avocado toast with homemade chili oil for the win.

Listen, we know avocado toast is been there, done that but it will always (repeat, always) have a special place in our hearts. It’s the easiest meal for when you’re in a hurry and simply tastes delicious no matter what. For this version, smash Simple Truth Organic Hass Avocados on toasted bread and top with radishes, microgreens, flaky sea salt and homemade chili oil.

Ingredients

¼ cup Simple Truth Organic Refined Avocado Oil

1 teaspoon Simple Truth Organic Crushed Red Pepper

1 garlic clove, grated 

1 piece sourdough bread, toasted 

½ ripe large Simple Truth Organic Hass Avocado, mashed 

Juice of ½ lemon

2 radishes, thinly sliced 

¼ cup microgreens 

Flaky sea salt, to taste 

Directions

Place the avocado oil, red chili flakes and garlic in a small saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat until infused, about 2 minutes. Transfer to a bowl to cool slightly. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. 

In a small bowl, mash the avocado with the lemon juice. Dollop onto the toast and top with the radishes, microgreens, a drizzle of chili oil and flaky sea salt.
