Zendaya, queen of the red carpet and master of all things hair and beauty, has once again graced us with a new look. But this time, her new ’do has fans speculating…did she dye her hair for a new role as a Disney princess? 

It all started when the 22-year-old actress arrived on the London red carpet with some red locks (and we mean really red), while promoting her new movie Spider-Man: Far from Home (where she plays the role of Michelle Jones). 

And while we love her usual brown with subtle blonde highlights, her statement curls and her occasional pixie, we are totally here for this look.

Within a matter of minutes, fans began to go crazy on the internet. No, she’s not playing Ariel in the new live-action Little Mermaid flick; there’s actually a really sweet and symbolic meaning behind the color choice.
