Per Buzzfeed, the outfit was reportedly taken from Thierry Mugler's 20th anniversary fall/winter runway fashion show from 1995. According to The New York Times, the “fembot” design took six months to complete, and it featured a full-body catsuit made from metal and plexiglas.
Dune: Part Two is a follow-up to the original movie, which premiered in 2021. Both films were inspired by the 1965 sci-fi novel by Frank Herbert and directed by Denis Villeneuve (Blade Runner 2049).
In addition to Zendaya, Dune: Part Two will feature returning cast members Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling and Javier Bardem. It will also highlight a few newcomers, including Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, Austin Butler, Christopher Walken and Léa Seydoux. The new film will hit theaters on March 1.
