Check Out a Super Young Princess Anne & Prince Charles in This Instagram Photo

The slideshow features four vintage photos of the royal family, including portraits of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, as well as shots of all their kids at a young age, including Prince Andrew and Prince Edward as well.

The caption says, "The Duke of Edinburgh was a loving husband and a devoted father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The Queen and The Duke’s enduring marriage has seen them support each other through many years of Royal duties and raising a family together."

They further describe their romance for the ages, saying, "The engagement of Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten to Princess Elizabeth was announced in July 1947 and the marriage took place in Westminster Abbey on 20 November 1947. In 2017, The Queen and The Duke became the first couple in the Royal Family to celebrate their Platinum Wedding anniversary."

When Prince Philip passed, he was just two months shy of turning 100. He and the Queen would have celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary this coming November. Her Royal Majesty honored her late husband yesterday by wearing a brooch with a deep, romantic history, as well as leaving an intimate, handwritten note on the Duke's coffin.
