In another pic, Joe is at a restaurant with his ex-girlfriend Candace (Ambyr Childers). Although we originally thought she was dead, the finale showed us otherwise.
Season one of You followed Joe as he developed an unhealthy obsession with a girl named Beck. When she realized what was happening, it was too late, and (spoiler alert!) he killed her.
The second season will focus on Joe as he heads to L.A. in an attempt to escape his past. Of course, it doesn’t take long for him to meet a new love interest. However, according to showrunner Sera Gamble, Joe has changed since the beginning of season one.
“It’s not that simple love-at-first-sight he might’ve been looking for a couple of years ago. He’s a different guy. He’s been through more,” she told EW. “The circumstances of his encounter with love are very informed by what he went through with Beck.”
That poor girl has no idea what she’s in for. Season two of You will hit Netflix on December 26.
