Will Ferrell’s Sons Save Him After a Red Carpet Fashion Faux Pas

Will Ferrell's oldest sons, Magnus (20) and Mattias (17), have been joining their father at Hollywood events since they were children, always showing him endless amounts of support. But on their most recent red carpet together, the pair have bumped up from their status as sideline supporters to assistant stylists.

Last week during the premiere of his new project, Will & Harper, while being interviewed on the red carpet, Ferrell's sons stepped behind him and started fiddling with the bottom of his jacket. After a few moments, it was clear what they were doing—trying to rescue their father from a fashion faux pas. The coattails of his suit jacket were still sewn together, and after a few moments of slight tugging and a pair of scissors later, the duo separated them. See the incident down below.

Ferrell's sons have only been on the big screen a few times, but it seems like they have a keen eye for fashion rather than acting. The group was also joined by their mom, Viveca Paulin, who the actor tied the knot with in 2000. All that's missing is the youngest Ferrell son, Axel (14), who tends to miss out on the photo ops.

The last time we saw the whole fam was at the Barbie premiere all huddled together on the red pink carpet. In the film, Ferrell played the scene-stealing Mattell CEO, but the 57-year-old's latest project is a lot more heartfelt.

Will & Harper is a new take on a documentary that follows Ferrell and long-time friend, Harper Steele. Steele has recently come out as a trans woman and the two embark on a road trip as they navigate this new era of their friendship. The film's creators told Deadline, "It’s a movie about the power of friendship and acceptance that we hope can help shift the culture, and so we are excited to have a partner in Netflix that has the ability to reach the largest possible audience worldwide."
