Looks like Tyra Banks is shimmying away from her hosting position on Dancing with the Stars. The 49-year-old superstar just revealed to TMZ that she's leaving the reality series to focus on her entrepreneurial endeavors.

The America's Next Top Model creator made the announcement in a new video, seen below, where she says, “I feel it's time for me to really focus on my business and my entrepreneurship and also producing more TV but behind the scenes. I think it's time to graduate from the dance floor to the stock market floor.”

When asked to clarify if she's leaving Dancing with the Stars, Banks scrunched up her face and said, “I think it's time...Yeah, I think it's time.”

The Life Size actress added, “I'm an entrepreneur at heart...I think my heart, my soul, is into my business. It's also into producing new TV, which we're working on—we have a new business show coming soon. But I really, really want to focus on my business, and you can't do that hosting a show. So, you'll see me creating things, not just hosting things.”

She concluded with a joke, adding, “From the ballroom to the boardroom, baby!”

Banks has been the host of Dancing with the Stars for the past three seasons, taking over in 2020 at the beginning of season 29. The role was previously held by Tom Bergeron, who acted as host for the first 28 seasons of the competition show.

The multi-hyphenate is known for her many high-profile hosting gigs, having been the emcee of America's Next Top Model, America's Got Talent, FABLife and more. But now, it appears that Banks is ready to do more behind the scenes work. (She also has a 7-year-old son named York.)

DWTS will certainly miss you, Tyra, but we can't wait to see what you do next.
