‘Abbott Elementary’ Star Tyler James Williams Wows on Cover of ‘GQ Hype’

Tyler James Williams brought the hot teacher vibes on the latest cover of GQ Hype.

Last week on Instagram, the Abbott Elementary star shared the photoshoot pics taken for the cover spread. In the first snap, the 30-year-old actor stuns in a black tailored suit, a white collared shirt and a matching black set of leather gloves. While sitting slightly bent over in a chair, Williams rests his chin on his hand while a shiny red balloon sits in his lap.

In the fourth pic, The Walking Dead alum turns the heat up a notch by rocking a long open white blazer and slacks while holding a red apple.

Williams wrote in the caption, “Thank you to @gq @gqhype for the feature and to @stolen_moments thank you for the conversation. I truly appreciate it.”

His followers rushed to the comments section to gush over the actor’s latest cover spread. One person wrote under the post, “Loooove these.” Another chimed in and said, “So, model is your new title? NOTED,” alongside a fire emoji.

Even his own Abbott Elementary castmate Quinta Brunson fangirled over the photos, sharing the “face blowing steam” emoji. Other celebs commented too, like Stranger Things star Caleb McLaughlin writing, “Yessir!” And Nope star Keke Palmer said, “So proud of you TTTTT.”

In the GQ Hype interview, Williams told the story about how Brunson (who created and currently stars in the hit ABC sitcom) reached out to him in hopes that he would play the role of Gregory Eddie.

“I was standing on my balcony and she called me. Abbott was going, and she was like, ‘Do you want to do this?’” he said. “We had a two-hour conversation about what we needed to see in Gregory, and when she listed the characters that he could be like, they were already on my list.”

We are living for Tyler’s modeling era.
