Tracee Ellis Ross never fails to impress us with her epic throwback posts on Instagram.
The Black-ish star recently took her fans on a trip down memory lane with a revealing swimsuit photo, and she legit looks like a contestant from America's Next Top Model. In the caption, she wrote, "What in the early 2000’s is this photo? [laughing emojis]."
The pic shows Ross in a lacey white one-piece as she rocks her fiercest pose. And the bold eye makeup, paired with her straightened, jet-back hair is giving us some serious Cher vibes.
One fan wrote, "Oh ok, come through baby Cher!!" Another commenter admitted, "I thought this was Cher for a quick second."
Meanwhile, others were reminded of Ross's former role as Joan Carol Clayton on the sitcom Girlfriends. One fan said, "This has Joan Clayton written all over it baby!!!!"
The snap is just one of many that the Pattern Haircare founder has shared on her timeline recently. In fact, the star posted a childhood pic of herself with a much younger Diana Ross in October. In the pic, Ross is sporting a meme-worthy facial expression while her mom performs on stage.
In September, Ross celebrated the 20-year anniversary of Girlfriends with fellow stars Jill Marie Jones, Golden Brooks and Persia White. While speaking about the series in an interview with USA Today, she said, "It was really special to see a story about four Black women, all whose stories were about mostly each other and not about the man they were pursuing. And at the core of the show was the relationship between these women, and how to be a friend."
Here's hoping we'll see even more stunning throwbacks from her early acting days.
