Tracee Ellis Ross just shared a rare photo of her father, Robert Ellis Silberstein, and the resemblance is uncanny.
Yesterday, the Black-ish star, 48, posted a never-before-seen selfie on her personal Instagram account, featuring her and her dad cheesing for the camera—so much so that Silberstein is struggling to keep his eyes open.
There’s no denying that Ross looks exactly like her mom, Diana. However, we never really noticed the resemblance to her dad…until now. Not only do they have nearly identical noses, but they also have matching smiles.
She captioned the post, “Open your eyes, Dad! And I miss you! Looking forward to hanging out soon @bobellis333.”
This isn’t the first time Ross has shared family photos on social media during these times of social distancing. Back in October, she treated fans to a throwback pic, featuring herself and a much younger Diana Ross. One month later, the actress posted a swimsuit photo on Instagram and wrote, “What in the early 2000’s is this photo? [laughing emojis].”
Oh, and how could we forget about this iconic slideshow, which featured footage from 1991 Paris Fashion Week. During the runway show, the mother-daughter duo walked the catwalk for Mugler in all-black ensembles. However, Tracee explained in the caption that she wasn’t always supposed to serve as a model—that is, until her mom demanded she and Tracee be a package deal.
As for this father-daughter pic, it’s a total keeper (even if Silberstein’s eyes are closed).
