Grab the Tissues: Tina Fey Loses It While Talking About Her Late Father in Emotional Interview

This new video of Tina Fey talking about her parents will make you want to drop everything and call your mom.

The latest installment of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman hit Netflix today, and it features the comedienne emotionally discussing the important role her parents, dad Donald Fey and mom Zenobia Xenakes, played in her life. *Grabs tissue*

The clip opens on Letterman mentioning the comedienne’s late father, who died of heart failure in 2015, and how proud he would be of her accomplishments. Fey tearfully recalls winning the Mark Twain Prize in 2010 for her portrayal of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live and reveals she’ll always cherish the ceremony because both of her parents were alive to witness it.

We’re not crying, you’re crying. The full-length interview is now streaming on Netflix.
