Taylor Swift, 33, may be traveling the world for her Eras Tour, but when she's not on stage, the singer-songwriter is jamming out to songs by her friends, including her longtime bestie, Selena Gomez, 31.

Gomez, who dropped her new track “Single Soon” this past Friday, must be feeling the love from Swift, who posted an Instagram Story to praise the song.

“When ur bestie is the bestest,” Swift wrote under a clip of Gomez’s new “Single Soon” music video. “Will be dancing to this forever methinks.”

Gomez released the dance track as a teaser of her fourth solo studio album. While the Wizards of Waverly Place star said that the LP isn't quite finished, she wrote on Instagram: “I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer.”

The last time Gomez dropped a collection of songs was in March 2021, when she released the Spanish-language EP Revelación. Prior to that, her last full-length release was Rare in 2020.

While Swift gave her BFF a shoutout on Instagram, many fans of the two artists thought Gomez initially gave a wink to Swift with her album art.

On the cover for “Single Soon,” Gomez is pictured wearing a fuzzy purple coat, much like the one Swift wore in her “Lavender Haze” music video and on the Eras Tour.

One user commented, “The jacket she wears looks like the eras tour lavender haze jacket????? I'm literally so excited.” Coincidence? We think not.

Swift and Gomez have been friends since 2008, but it appears they remain as close as ever.
