Taylor Swift Rocks Major Fall Trend While Cheering on Boyfriend Travis Kelce at Chiefs Game

I'm seeing double

Who says that the Canadian tuxedo isn't all that?! Not T-Swift (or Parisians, apparently). The singer recently rocked the denim on denim style, a look that has been predicted to be one of fall's hottest fashion trends according to PW's fashion editor, Abby Hepworth

First spotted earlier this year during Paris Fashion Week, all of the French girls were donning double denim with a uniquely European twist. And now it appears that Taylor Swift has given the trend her seal of approval.

I Predict Taylor Swift's New Heels-and-Socks Combo Will Become a Major Fall Trend

Yesterday, the "The Tortured Poets Department" singer was seen making her way into Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City to attend her boyfriend Travis Kelce's first regular game of the NFL season. The pop star rocked a denim on denim ensemble made up of a structured denim bustier top and high-rise denim shorts. Each denim piece was a slightly different wash, creating a slightly mismatched moment. She paired the ensemble with her signature red lip, a gold medallion necklace, dainty gold rings and chain bracelets, a black and gold truck-style mini bag and thigh-high red leather boots. Though it's not necessarily the most conventional double denim look, the mix of fabrics and accessory pairings certainly caught our eye. Swifties, you're gonna wanna take notes.

Hepworth weighed in on the "1989" star's look saying, "I love a denim-on-denim outfit, especially when the pieces are a little less expected (i.e. not straight-leg jeans and a chambray button up) and also not a perfect matching set. Overall Taylor's look isn't the most wearable for your average afternoon hang, but it definitely feels right on trend and can absolutely be used to inspire other chic fall denim combos (burgundy boots included)."

If you're itching to replicate Swift's look, here are a couple of pieces that will help you achieve a denim-inspired transitional summer-to-fall fit.

With form-fitting darts, this particular bustier will help you achieve a similar silhouette to Taylor's structured version. It's a bit longer for more stomach coverage and allows for a smoother transition from summer to autumn.

Though summer is starting to come to a close, we're giving shorts one last hurrah before the seasonal chill becomes a regular occurrence. This Old Navy pair is fitted enough to replicate Swift's ensemble, but loose enough where you'll still have some room to move around.

Bustier-meets-Daisy Duke in this Reformation number. With metallic fasteners and pocket detailing, it's a perfect way to replicate the look.
