Taylor Lautner Just Secretly Got Married But the Bride Hinted It Was Going to Happen

Taylor Lautner, 30, and Taylor Dome, 25, are officially husband and wife!

The pair secretly tied the knot over the weekend at a winery near Paso Robles, California, and the news was reported by The Daily Mail, who snagged some shots from the intimate ceremony. However, it appears that Dome has been taking notes from Taylor Swift (aka the queen of Easter eggs), because she subtly hinted at the nuptials only a few days before they actually happened.

It all started this past Wednesday, November 9, when Dome posted a slideshow of photos to Instagram that she snapped from within a bathroom. In the pics, the bride-to-be sported a punch-colored dress, as well as a veil on her head. “Wednesday vibes,” she wrote in her caption.

While we didn't think much of it at the time, Dome's veil was clearly hinting to her followers that the wedding was imminent. And some fans seemed to pick up on the clue, like one person who asked, “Was this a bridal shower photo?” Another follower commented, “So excited for you!!” and added an emoji of a wedding ring.

Since this sneaky pic, the registered nurse hasn't posted any other photos, and Lautner hasn't posted anything since early last week. However, according to The Daily Mail, the pair enjoyed a scenic outdoor ceremony with around 100 of their closest friends and family. Pics from the publication show the pair holding hands and kissing, with Dome sporting a wedding dress with floral lace detailing. Lautner chose a black tuxedo, and his groomsmen matched him in color, while the bridesmaids wore forest green gowns.

The Taylors announced their engagement exactly a year ago, when Lautner posted photos to his account that were taken from the moment when he popped the question.

“11.11.2021. And just like that, all of my wishes came true,” Lautner wrote in his caption. Dome shared the second snap from the carousel to her own account, writing, “My absolute best friend. I CANNOT WAIT TO SPEND FOREVER WITH YOU.”

It was also revealed that Dome is going to take on the last name Lautner (which would make both their names Taylor Lautner). The Twilight saga actor joked about it while visiting The Kelly Clarkson Show, as he said, “We’re literally going to be the same person.”

The newlyweds have been together since 2018, and per The Sun, it is believed they were set up by Lautner's younger sister, Makena. Their relationship was first made public on Halloween in 2018, when Lautner posted a photo of their Space Jam-themed joint costume, with the caption, “#tunesquad.”
