Earlier this week on Instagram, Suits alum Patrick J. Adams, 42, took a nostalgic trip down memory lane and posted a series of throwback pics from the set of the hit show, which featured former co-stars like Meghan Markle, Sarah Rafferty, Gina Torres and more.

But, if you’ve since revisited the actor’s IG page, then you probably noticed the cast photos he shared only a few days ago are simply gone. So now, fans have been left wondering what happened.

Fortunately, per Hello! Magazine, Adams gave an explanation as to why he deleted the photos from his page. In a now-expired message posted to his Instagram Story, the Suits actor wrote, “The last couple of days I foolishly and thoughtlessly let a trip down Suits memory lane distract me from the very real and ongoing fight everyone in @sagaftra continues to wage in its effort to win our membership realistic 21st-century compensation and protections.”

Adams continued, “It was an embarrassing oversight for which I’m incredibly sorry. So grateful to those who gently and swiftly course-corrected me here and I look forward to continuing the fight in the days and weeks ahead. #sagaftrastrong.”

While the SAG-AFTRA strike continues, Adams posted the cast photos on his IG page on Tuesday, September 26, which is one day before the separate WGA writers strike officially came to an end. According to CNBC, WGA union leaders voted “unanimously to lift the restraining order and end the strike” and the decision went into effect on Wednesday, September 27.

In his since-deleted posts, Adams shared a BTS picture of Markle lying down on the floor while her castmate, Rafferty (aka Donna Paulson) sits on the couch. “I miss my friends,” the caption read.

The actor also shared a slideshow filled with black-and-white photos of his former colleagues. Included in the throwback post was a photo of the Duchess of Sussex showcasing her side profile. He went on to write in the caption, “Each and every one of them.”

We’re just glad to have an explanation.
