Suits creator Aaron Korsch is sharing never-before-heard details about what it’s really like to work with Meghan Markle.

Last week, the showrunner hosted a candid Q&A on Twitter, where he answered a series of questions that were submitted by fans. When one follower asked about the Duchess of Sussex, Korsch revealed that she was a pleasure to work with on Suits.

“Among other things, I loved Meghan’s enthusiasm both on set and off,” he said. “She brightened the mood wherever she was.”

Korsch went on to share the thoughtful gesture that Markle did at the beginning (and the end) of each season, adding, “She would always write a note after reading the season opener and finale, and it always made my day.”

While these two assets stand out, Korsch admitted that there’s far more to Markle than meets the eye. He continued, “Among many other things that paints a picture…”

Markle appeared in several TV shows and movies over the years, but Suits is considered her big break. The actress played Rachel Zane, a lawyer who doubled as Mike Ross’s (Patrick J. Adams) love interest. Although she departed the show in season seven, Markle previously teased a potential return to acting.

“I don’t see it as giving anything up,” she said, according to Hello! magazine. “I just see it as a change. It’s a new chapter. And keep in mind, I’ve been working on my show for seven years. We were very fortunate to have that sort of longevity on a series.”

Never change, Meghan.
