Sofía Vergara just proved that less is more when it comes to fashion.
This week, the Modern Family star, 49, shared a slideshow on Instagram to celebrate the birthday of her friend, film producer Luis Balaguer. Vergara wore a stunning black dress that’s not only flattering, but it can also be dressed up or down, depending on the accessories.
The first photo is a group shot featuring Vergara’s son, Manolo, and her husband, Joe Mangiello. It’s followed by a selfie of the actress and her hubby, along with a video of Balaguer’s birthday cake.
Vergara is wearing a holiday-appropriate outfit. And while it could be a skirt tucked into a blouse, it appears to be a long sleeve bodycon dress in a velvet fabric. We don’t know the exact brand Vergara is donning, but there’s a similar version by Reiss. The Bella Velvet One Shoulder Dress retails for $320 on Bloomingdale’s.
The caption read, “Seguimos celebrating! [birthday cake emojis] @luisbalaguer1.”
It didn’t take long for her followers to catch wind of the new post, commenting on everything from Vergara’s outfit to Manganiello’s accessory. One person wrote, “Wow! This dress!” Another added, “They look so good together.” Someone even commented on Manganiello’s four-legged friend: “I love how Joe always has the dog. I feel you!”
