Snoop Dogg has been all over our TV screens recently, for one of the most unexpected reasons: the Paris Olympics.

Not only did he act as a torchbearer during the opening ceremony, but he has also been serving as an NBC Olympics Correspondent (yes, seriously).

And now, Snoop is making headlines for another unexpected reason, and it all has to do with the royal family—namely, Prince William and the late Queen Elizabeth.

In late July, Snoop Dogg made a U.K. radio appearance on Capital FM with DJ Jordan North. During the chat, the rapper got real about the royal family—and believe us when we say this was not on our 2024 bingo card.

Per People, North asked Snoop about a royal rumor, saying, "Well, I've heard the future king, [Prince] William, is a huge Snoop fan." Snoop confirmed this to be true and even went a step further, calling out the late queen: "Well, the queen was a fan too. Rest in peace to the queen, that was my girl. You know what I'm saying?"

The rapper even joked that during his time in the U.K., "I'll go by the palace, see if they let me in." Um, please tell us this happened, Snoop.

While the queen being a Snoop fan comes as a giant surprise, William's affinity for Snoop's music is a little less shocking. After all, we all know the prince does love his tunes.

Not only did the future monarch previously perform onstage with Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift, but he was recently seen dancing at a Taylor Swift concert alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

In addition to talking about the royals and stealing the show at the Olympics, Snoop was also recently spotted in Paris with his BFF Martha Stewart.

In a video in front of the Eiffel Tower, he waved next to Stewart and blew a kiss. The vid included the caption, "Two best friends in Paris."
