Simone Biles Shows Off Olympic Ring Tattoo in Gorgeous All-Red Ensemble on IG

While Simone Biles looked absolutely stunning in an all-red ensemble on Instagram, her followers quickly noticed a very special tattoo on the athlete’s forearm.

Yesterday, the 25-year-old star posted a picture of herself rocking a red two-piece outfit and showing off her engagement ring. In the photo, the Olympic gold medalist is shown standing on what appears to be a sandy beach, with waves visible in the background.

Biles wrote in the caption, “Future Mrs. Owens planning all things wedding [white heart emoji].”

But, our eyes instantly went to her Olympics-inspired tattoo that pays homage to the sporting event. In the snapshot, Biles has the Olympic rings design just above her wrist.

The symbol was created by Pierre de Coubertin and represents the five continents throughout the world, according to the Olympics website. And it's no wonder Biles chose it for her body: The professional gymnast has won four gold medals, one silver and two bronzes. During the Summer 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Biles won gold in the all-around, team, vault and floor routine.

Of course, her followers gushed over the snapshot in the comments section. One fan commented, “Red looks GOOD on you!!” Another said, “STUNNING.” Even her husband-to-be had to show love to his future wife, writing, “My beautiful fiancée,” with a red heart and ring emoji.

Biles and her betrothed, Jonathan Owens, first started dating in March 2020. The pair first started talking on social media, where she slid into his DMs. Two years later, the young couple is engaged to be married.

Back in February, Biles posted the big announcement on her Instagram page. “THE EASIEST YES. I can’t wait to spend forever & ever with you, you’re everything I dreamed of and more!” she wrote in the caption of the post. “Let's get married, FIANCÉ.”

Such an inspiring tattoo, Simone.
