It’s Official (Again)! Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens Have Destination Wedding Ceremony in Mexico

So nice they did it twice. Simone Biles, 26, and Jonathan Owens, 27, officially tied the knot in Houston, Texas, back in April, but they just had a *second* wedding with their closest family and friends, and we finally have pics from the special celebration (including the gymnast's gorgeous wedding gown).

The gold medalist gave the Vogue Weddings account a look at her dress for the big day, which was shown in a new video on Instagram. The white gown was courtesy of the brand Galia Lahav, made with the help of head designer Sharon Sever Faibish.

This weekend, Biles and Owens headed to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico for a super secret destination wedding. The date of their second wedding was revealed only days before it happened, when a friend of the couple posted a photo to their Instagram Story.

While fans may be wondering why the couple got married in Texas prior to their beachside ceremony, Biles previously explained the situation to a fan during an Instagram Live video: “We had to get married ‘legally’ here in the U.S. since our wedding will be a destination wedding,” she said.

On her Instagram Story, Biles also teased fans early this morning, May 7, by posting videos of her hotel room all decorated with balloons. Over top of the first clip, the Olympian wrote, “Wedding day,” along with emojis of a woman wearing a veil and a ring.

While the actual ceremony was kept very private, TMZ managed to snap a few photos from the service. Meanwhile, Owens shared a video to Instagram the day before, which highlighted everyone's arrival to the event (and showed off another one of Biles's dresses).

“Welcome party was a success!!!” Owens wrote. “Stay tuned for the big day...The vibes were immaculate #cincodemayo.”
