Apparently, Jonathan Owens’s “S” tattoo (which represents the first initial of his wife Simone Biles) on that *very* special finger is not the only tattoo the pro-NFL player has shown off on social media.
On July 7, Biles posted a slideshow filled with photos of her and her hubby wearing matching “Team USA” outfits on Instagram. Similar to the couple photoshoots they have done in the past, Biles and Owens are all smiles as they pose together in front of a white backdrop.
But it was the last slide that instantly caught my eye. While lying on the floor, the married couple are smiling from ear to ear with their faces pressed together. Unlike the previous photos included in the slideshow, Owens’s shirt is slightly unbuttoned, revealing his large chest tattoo.
Per Essentially Sports, the football safety’s chest tattoo is seemingly the words from Matthew 17:20. The lines read: “He replied, ‘Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.’” And Biles’s caption seems to echo the sentiment, reading, “Land of dreams [U.S. flag and white heart emoji].”
As I mentioned earlier, this is just one of the tattoos Owens, 28, unveiled on social media. On July 6, Biles posted a photo of Owen’s “S” tattoo on her personal Instagram Story.
In the snap (shared by People), the 27-year-old gymnast can be seen holding her husband’s hand with the new tattoo on full display. And if that weren’t enough, Biles had the best reaction to the new ink: she posted two screaming-face, two red hearts and two crossed fingers emojis,
They are just the cutest.
