This isn’t the first time Serena and Alexis have slayed in a cute, matching outfit. Back in November, the two were twinning in orange knee-length dresses with a pair of navy blue and orange Nike shoes.
Williams rocked brown, curly hair (with a touch of highlights), while Alexis had a braided hairstyle with white beads. The 40-year-old athlete posted a video of them twirling side-by-side. In another photo, the mother-daughter duo was shown wearing matching yellow, cheetah print pajamas. While standing in their living room, the two struck a cute pose for the photo.
Throughout her career, Serena has been candid about her motherhood journey. During last year’s Blaze Your Path webinar, she sat down with UPS Chief Marketing Officer Kevin Warren and talked about being a mother.
“My journey as a mother has been so fun,” she said. “You know, it’s just, it’s really just incredible being a mom. I love every moment of it. My daughter is so fun. She’s just a joy to be around really and she’s like, 'You are my friend’ and I’m like ‘Yes but I’m your mom.'”
She also acknowledged that she never saw herself being a mother. But now, the Grand Slam champion wouldn’t trade it for the world, enjoying every single second of it. “It is just so cool,” she added.
