Serena Williams’s Daughter Practices Tennis in New Pic (and She’s Clearly Taking After Her Mom)

Serena Williams, 42, may have a little tennis star on her hands. In a new picture shared on the Instagram page dedicated to Williams’s oldest daughter, Alexis Olympia, the 6-year-old can be seen practicing her tennis skills, and it’s like we were looking at her mom’s mini-me. 

In the photo, Olympia (who is facing away from the camera) is getting ready to hit a tennis ball. With a racket in hand, she is sporting a white sleeveless shirt, purple shorts and some black/white kicks. The caption read, “Papa is my ballboy.”

Olympia’s dad, Alexis Ohanian, 40, showed his support for his little girl underneath the post by sharing an emoji with a hand raised, showing that he is indeed the ballboy. 

Fans of the Grand Slam champ had nothing but praise for the little tennis star in the making. One person said in the comments section, “Watch out world.” Another follower wrote, “Wow, look at that early preparation. Love it.” 

This is not the first time Olympia has shown off her tennis skills on social media. Back in January 2021, Williams posted a snap of her baby girl practicing her swing on the court. 

Williams watches as her daughter prepares herself to hit the tennis ball. In the caption, she wrote, “Turn, back, reach, head, follow through.”
