It’s a Mini ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ Reunion! Sarah Michelle Gellar and James Marsters Unite on Red Carpet

Sarah Michelle Gellar may be celebrating the release of her new Paramount+ series, Wolf Pack, but she will always be Buffy Summers in our hearts. And earlier this week, the 45-year-old actually had a mini reunion with one of her former Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-stars, James Marsters.

The two were spotted at the red carpet premiere of Wolf Pack in Los Angeles. Although Marsters is not confirmed to be on the series, it seems he came to support his former TV enemy/paramour.

During Buffy's 7-season run, Gellar played the titular character, a high schooler who discovers she is a “chosen one” that has been charged with slaying evil forces that inhabit the Earth. Then, Marsters joined the series as Spike in season 2, a vampire who at first acts as a annoyance to Buffy, but the two eventually become romantically linked.

Now, exactly 20 years after Buffy ended, the two reunited on the red carpet, where Gellar wore a floral crystal mini dress from Oscar de la Renta from their Pre-Spring 2023 collection, while Marsters wore an all-black ensemble, with a zip-up shirt tucked into jeans and a bomber jacket layered on top.

In addition to this mini Buffy reunion, Gellar also took photos with her husband (and former I Know What You Did Last Summer co-star), Freddie Prinze Jr. She also posed beside her new Wolf Pack co-star, Rodrigo Santoro.

She shared pics with all three men on Instagram, where she wrote, “This is a series of me… and the incredible men that came out to support me last night @realfreddieprinze @jamesmarstersof @rodrigosantoro @wolfpackonpplus.”

Could we expect a cameo from Marsters on Wolf Pack? We'll be keeping our fingers crossed.
