Sarah Jessica Parker & Matthew Broderick Have Hit the Broadway Stage—& Their 3 Kids Made a Rare Appearance at Opening Night

This rare appearance comes nearly four years after the three siblings joined their parents for the Broadway opening of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. At the time, Parker documented the car ride over to the theater by sharing a video clip and wrote, "Yipee! On our way to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the whole family gets to go and cheer for our dear @scottwittman and @marc_shaiman."

For the occasion, Parker and her daughters turned heads in their colorful coats and dresses, while Broderick and his son wore ties.

Although the couple's children are often kept out of the spotlight, they've made a few appearances on Parker's Instagram page. For instance, in September 2021, the proud mom shared a heartfelt post about watching her kids grow and become independent. In her poetic caption, she wrote, "In the span of 7 days. One crosses the threshold into his freshman year of college. The other 2 into 7th grade. The house is different. We are different. They need us more. And far less. So many know. Gutted at the time passed. Passing. Exhilarated by the possibilities that await them. The love. The love. The love. X, SJ."

In the comments, fellow celebs offered their support. Ali Wentworth said, “The kitchen table seems too big…holding your hand Mama! Off they soar!” Meanwhile, Reese Witherspoon commented, “Beautifully said.”
