Quarantine silver linings are tough to find, but all the sneak peeks of the royals at home are certainly a bright spot amidst the coronavirus pandemic. Case in point: the latest Instagram update from Sarah Ferguson in honor of International Family Day.
The Duchess of York marked the occasion—which promotes awareness of family issues and aims to increase the knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting families—with a photo of her nuclear fam: Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice and ex-husband Prince Andrew, all included.
She captioned the pic: “On International Family Day .. I am so proud of our united loving family.”
It goes without saying that it’s been a tough year for this clan, in particular for Prince Andrew after his ties to billionaire Jeffrey Epstein were revealed, causing him to make the decision to formally step away from royal life.
Princess Beatrice has also had a rocky start to the year with her May wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi being postponed, thanks to the uncertainty of COVID-19.
Still, Fergie’s photo is a sweet reminder that, in the best or worst of times, families stick together. Now, if only Eugenie or Beatrice would provide an oh-so-relatable update on what it’s like to quarantine with their parents...
