We love Kristin Davis for her turn as Charlotte York in Sex and the City (and it's reboot, And Just Like That...), but it seems there’s even more reason to love the 58-year-old star. In addition to her comedic acting, Davis is an active philanthropist and conservationist, and she was recently honored with The Perfect World Foundation Award, which was given to her by Sarah Ferguson, 63.

The Duchess of York shared snaps from the event to her Instagram, where she wrote, “As a long-time ambassador of The Perfect World Foundation, I was proud to present The Perfect World Foundation Award 2023 to philanthropist, actress and producer Kristin Davis last week for her work as a Patron to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and as a Goodwill Ambassador with UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency.”
In the first snap, Ferguson is seen standing next to the SATC actress in a flower-printed, two-piece set. Meanwhile, Davis sports a hot pink, vintage dress from Yves Saint Laurent. The following snap saw the Duchess of York posing with other attendees of the event.
Ferguson closed her caption by adding: “Thank you Kristin for your contribution to the conservation of our planet’s wildlife and nature. Well done and congratulations!”
On the official TPWF Award website, they highlight Davis’s accomplishments, with a passage that reads: “Kristin Davis will be awarded the TPWF award, and the Conservationist of the year, for her work that has significantly contributed to the conservation of the planet’s wildlife and nature, by increasing global awareness of the importance of protecting biodiversity.”
It’s true that you need only take a glance at the Colorado native’s Instagram to see her many posts about conservation efforts.
Davis also shared her appreciation for the honor on her page, where she wrote, “@tpwaward means so much to me because @tpw_foundation is also helping to save wild spaces by planting trees all over the world. And bringing much needed awareness to the people working so hard to save all of the wild animals who are endangered. Thank you so much for this award.”
We hope you felt royally celebrated, Kristin.
