Ryan Seacrest celebrated his dad, Gary, with a sweet birthday tribute on Instagram—and it looks like they had quite an eventful weekend.
The TV personality, 49, shared a candid pic of himself eating a Neapolitan-style pizza with his father and wrote, "This might be even better than a burger for the table. Happy birthday to one of my favorite people to share a slice with. Love you, Dad."
One fan commented, "Happy birthday to your father! I love how you celebrate your family." Another wrote, "The happiest of birthdays to your dad! Wishing him many blessings!"
The sweet birthday post comes just a few weeks after Ryan honored his dad on Father's Day. To mark the occasion, he shared a pic of himself posing with both of his parents and wrote, "Wishing a fantastic #FathersDay to the coolest dad around, Gary Seacrest! Thanks for all the unforgettable memories and for teaching me all of life’s important lessons. Love you, Dad!"
FYI, it's likely the father-son duo are continuing a tradition, because on a 2023 episode of his radio show, On Air With Ryan Seacrest, Ryan revealed his dad wanted to celebrate Father's Day with some pizza. Ryan said, "We're gonna make it very simple. I will be with Gary Seacrest, and all he wants is his fried egg sandwich in the morning, and he wants pizza."
He continued, "[We're having a] pizza party. And we call my father Mr. Formaggio, he likes that on Father's Day."
Gary, who is currently the president & CEO of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation, has popped up on his son's social feed on several occasions, whether it's snapshots of their family dinners or rare throwbacks to celebrate his parents' anniversary.
