Ryan Phillippe Shares Rare Pics with Lookalike Son Deacon While Taking a Dip in a Mountain Hot Spring

Ryan Phillippe got some adventurous father-son bonding time in with his second-oldest child, Deacon, this past weekend.

The pair traveled to McCauley Warm Springs in the Santa Fe National Forest in New Mexico, and based on the photos Phillippe shared to Instagram, it looks like their sights were pretty stunning.

The I Know What You Did Last Summer actor shared the slideshow with an alliterative caption that said, “The rocky uphill hike was well worth the warm woodland baptism that followed.” 17-year-old Deacon added his input, saying, “And the viddles.”

In the pics, we can see that the two enjoyed time taking selfies, playing around in the water, inspecting flowers and hiking. Phillippe made sure to offer snaps of the lush forest scenery and giant cliffs, too.

Actor and rapper Omar Epps loved the getaway pics, saying, “Lets go!!” Meanwhile, comedian Travon Free was impressed by Phillippe's photography skills, commenting, “That first photo is stunning.”

But users also couldn't get over how much the father and son looked alike. One person commented, “I thought deacon was you!” And another added, “Holy gene goals!”

We've seen in the past how much Deacon looks like his father. The pair must enjoy their nature trips because they made an outing to Joshua Tree National Park in California last November, and they shared snaps from their hiking excursion on Instagram.

As these two posed together on the rocks, they looked like carbon copies of each other, and one user put it perfectly when they said, “Look like brothers.”

There's no denying that Deacon also shares striking similarities to his mom and frequent selfie partner, Reese Witherspoon.

Now which one does he look more like? The jury's still out on that.
