Per the caption, at the beginning of the week, the prince joined Iceland Foods to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary and hear about a number of their sustainability projects, including a reverse vending machine that rewards users for recycling. And on Tuesday, the duchess visited a number of independent bookshops and businesses in Hay-on-Wye. While there, HRH also met writers and supporters of this year’s Hay Festival, which celebrates reading and writing. Still with us?
“On Wednesday, Their Royal Highnesses saw performances at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, including one by The Prince’s Official Harpist, Alis Hughes, who is an alumna of the College,” the caption continued. And on Thursday, Charles celebrated 100 years of the Church in Wales by visiting St. David’s Cathedral, St. Brynach’s Church and St. Martin of Tours Church.
And all of their hard work didn’t go unnoticed by fans and followers. The comments section quickly filled with kind sentiments and thanks for the couple. One user wrote, “You two are admirable. Hard working and doing a great job.”
While this post lumped all of their engagements into one, Clarence House provided more in-depth Instagrams about each event and shared them all separately. (For more details, see here.)
Keep up the great work, you two.
