From surprise ballet dancers to super-telling body language, Kate Middleton’s annual holiday concert, titled “Together at Christmas,” turned out even better than expected. And now, Queen Camilla is taking a page out of Princess Catherine’s hosting handbook.
This week, the 77-year-old queen hosted her annual holiday decorating party at Clarence House. Queen Camilla invited children from Helen & Douglas House and Roald Dahl Charity for a special get-together.
The royal family shared a video montage on Instagram, featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the event. It shows everything from a plate of holiday cookies to clips of Queen Camilla putting ornaments on the tree.
“Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree!” the caption read. “Continuing a cherished annual tradition, The Queen welcomed children supported by @helenanddouglashouse and @roalddahlcharity to Clarence House to help decorate the Christmas tree. We think they’ve done a wonderful job!”
It continued, “Adding to the magic of the day, everyone was treated to some festive tunes from The Band and Bugles of The Rifles and enjoyed a delicious lunch. Father Christmas himself even made a surprise appearance!”
Queen Camilla isn’t the only person who showed off her Christmas tree on social media. Earlier this month, Kelly Ripa gave fans a glimpse of her gorgeous Christmas tree, which is noticeably slimmer compared to the one she had in 2023.
In the caption, she wrote, “Behold the lady [tree], even the trees are skinny this year. #Treezempic?”
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
