It appears the Gargoyle King isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

The CW just confirmed that Riverdale has been renewed for a fourth season. The news broke yesterday when the network announced its 2019/2020 TV slate and simultaneously green-lit ten series for another season.

In addition to Riverdale, returning shows include ArrowBlack LightningCharmed, DC’s Legends of TomorrowDynastyThe FlashLegaciesSupergirl and Supernatural.

Unfortunately, The CW has yet to reveal the fate of All American, Roswell and The 100, but hey, we’ll take what we can get.

Riverdale first premiered on The CW back in 2016 and starred KJ Apa (Archie Andrews), Cole Sprouse (Jughead Jones), Lili Reinhart (Betty Cooper), Camila Mendes (Veronica), Madelaine Petsch (Cheryl Blossom), Casey Cott (Kevin Keller) and Ashleigh Murray (Josie McCoy). The show is currently in its third season, which focuses on the Riverdale teens uncovering new mysteries about their parents’ pasts.

The network is also developing a Riverdale spin-off, which will be based on the Archie Comics character Katy Keene. The show will be a musical dramedy that follows Keene and three other aspiring artists in NYC. Roberto Aquirre-Sacasa (Riverdale, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) will direct the spin-off, and Michael Grassi (Riverdale) will pen the script.

Take that, Hiram.
