Richard Gere is gearing up for fatherhood again.
The 69-year-old actor and his 35-year-old wife, Alejandra Silva, confirmed they’re expecting their first child together with a photo of their bun in the oven meeting the Dalai Lama, natch.
The mom-to-be captioned the photo, “A very special moment just a few minutes ago…Getting blessings for our precious to come. We couldn’t announce it before telling HH Dalai Lama??”
Gere already shares an 18-year-old son (Homer) with his ex-wife Carey Lowell, and Silva has a 5-year-old son (Albert) from her previous marriage to financier Govind Friedland. Silva and Friedland officially divorced in 2015 after being separated for about a year and she began dating Gere in 2014. The couple quietly wed in a civil ceremony in April of this year and celebrated their nuptials surrounded by friends and family in New York in May.
