Reese Witherspoon is trying out her new favorite namesake toast recipe on TikTok.
Earlier this week, The Morning Show star posted a video of herself reacting to TikTok creator, Elyse Myers, who was showing how to make her Reese's peanut butter toast recipe. In the short clip, Witherspoon rocked a yellow cardigan sweater with a white shirt and denim-washed jeans. She tied the look together with an array of green, beaded necklaces.
To start the recipe, Witherspoon had two pieces of toast sitting on a white dinner plate. But, instead of coating the toast with butter, she decided to use her chunkiest peanut butter. With a kitchen knife, the Legally Blonde alum applied a heavy coating of peanut butter.
At one point during the video, Witherspoon was startled by the sound of a howling dog (which turned out to be Myers's dog, Bauer, in the background). Laughing off the awkward moment, Witherspoon continued to smother her toast with peanut butter. She topped the toast off with some chocolate chips (in classic Salt Bae style).
Fans couldn’t get enough of the duo, as well as the delicious toast recipe. “LOVE THIS!!” one fan wrote in the comment section of the TikTok video. Another fan commented on recreating the recipe, writing, “Darn it. On my way to making this one #whatcarbs.”
When she’s not in the kitchen, Witherspoon is making some pretty big career moves. The 45-year-old actress recently announced that her media company, Hello Sunshine, has partnered with non-fungible token (NFT) company World of Woman.
Per Variety, the partnership will help WoW artists build scripted and unscripted television series, feature films and more. Witherspoon has always shown her support for WoW, so the move wasn’t a huge surprise.
“We look forward to engaging with the remarkable WoW community at every step of this partnership and creating opportunities for WoW holders to work collaboratively with Hello Sunshine on transforming the WoW art into powerful stories,” she told the outlet.
