Reese Witherspoon Used a Carly Rae Jepsen Song to Perfectly Describe Her Love of Doughnuts

When Reese Witherspoon isn't modeling her posh Draper James outfits or sharing throwbacks from her ’90s films, the 46-year-old loves to make comical social media clips for her followers. And her latest was far too relatable—especially for doughnut lovers.

In her new video, the Morning Show star incorporated Carly Rae Jepsen's song, “The Loneliest Time,” which has been trending all over TikTok, to express her love of the sugary treats.

When Jepsen says, “I'm coming back for you, baby / I'm coming back for you!” Witherspoon can be seen lip-synching these lines while looking down at half of a sprinkled doughnut sitting on a plate. In her caption, Witherspoon wrote, “Who only eats half? [donut emoji].”

Fellow celebs, like Kerry Washington, loved the video, typing a series of laughing emojis in the comments. Meanwhile, Witherspoon's former Legally Blonde co-star, Selma Blair, wrote, “I don’t savor. Instant gratification can’t come soon enough. I’ll just have one. After. Another.”

Some fans also noticed the box that was featured in a quick flash of Witherspoon's video, which revealed that her sweets were courtesy of Parlor Doughnuts.

One follower commented, “Omgggg parlor doughnuts are soooooo gooooddddd.” And another added, “Impossible to eat only half.”

The Sweet Home Alabama star has never been shy about her sweet tooth. Back in 2020, she posted a snap of herself enjoying a cake doughnut with pink frosting and sprinkles (while also giving us a glimpse at her picturesque backyard). “[Every day] is better with [doughnuts] and dogs,” Witherspoon wrote.

The Draper James founder also posted a video of herself earlier this month, in which she could be seen sneaking candies at the Hello Sunshine production company office. “There’s always that one person in the office (and well…that person is me),” Witherspoon joked in her caption.

We can always relate to you, Reese.
