At Age 42, Rapper Eve Announces She’s Pregnant with Her First Child

Big congratulations are in order for Eve!

The 42-year-old rapper just announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Maximillion Cooper. It appears the news has been a secret for quite some time, because the musician revealed in her caption that she is already five months pregnant.

Along with some pictures of the baby bump, Eve said, “Can you believe it @mrgumball3000 we finally get to tell everyone!!!!!” She then added, “You all know how long we’ve been waiting for this blessing!!! We get to meet our lil human February 2022.”

In the two photos, Eve is seen wearing a sheer, black button-up and a matching hat while looking down at her stomach and holding it. In the second photo, one of Cooper's hands is seen placed on her stomach as well.

The comments were flooded with love from fellow celebrities, like Missy Elliott, who said, “Awwwww. Congratulations sis!!!!!!” Former 3LW member Naturi Naughton added, “Yessss!!! I’m so glad it’s out! Congratulations girl!!! Soo happy for you guys.” Meanwhile, fashion designer Misa Hylton commented, “Congratulations @therealeve!!”

However, Eve wasn't the only one who shared her excitement to Instagram. Cooper posted the same set of photos to his own account, where he said, “Very excited to share this news… we have a lil human on the way! ♥️.”

Eve and Cooper first started dating in 2010, before eventually tying the knot in 2014 with a gorgeous seaside ceremony in Ibiza, Spain. Prior to their marriage, Cooper had four children with his ex-wife, Julie Brangstrup, and Eve became a stepmother to all of them. Now, it looks like the pair will be adding another member to their family.
