‘Crazy Ex-Girlfriend’ Star Rachel Bloom Is Pregnant! Get All the Deets on Her Surprise Announcement

Rachel Bloom just dropped a major bombshell after winning her first-ever Emmy Award: She’s pregnant!

Over the weekend, the 2019 Creative Arts Emmys took place at the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles. During the ceremony, the 32-year-old actress won the award for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for season four, episode 13 of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, titled “I Have to Get Out.”

After accepting the statuette, Bloom revealed that she and her husband, Dan Gregor, are expecting their first child together. The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star announced the exciting news while backstage in the press room, admitting that the “W” couldn’t have come at a better time.

“I’m three months pregnant, and I get to tell my child she was with me when this happened, which is pretty f***ing cool,” she said, according to E! News.

Bloom accepted the award alongside Adam Schlesinger and Jack Dolgen, who co-wrote the now-famous song “Antidepressants Are So Not a Big Deal” for “I Have to Get Out.” Although the actress joked that her Emmy is her “real baby,” she admitted that she won’t forget this moment anytime soon.

“It feels so f***ing surreal,” she added. “I’m so happy to be winning with these guys.”

After the awards show, Bloom celebrated her new Emmy on Instagram and casually confirmed that she has a bun in the oven.

“WE WON AN EMMY!!!!!!! also btw I’m pregnant,” she wrote.

Leave it to Bloom to have the most low-key pregnancy announcement, like, ever.
