Take, for instance, Jody Castellucci. She may seem like the epitome of an independent woman (she hunts and grows her own food!), but when it comes to tapping into her feminine prowess, she’s at a loss. So, it’s up to the Fab Five to teach her that confidence and beauty come in many shapes and sizes.
Not letting stereotypes define them is something Mary and Deborah Jones of Jones Bar-B-Q can relate to. These sisters are among few female BBQ pit masters in the game and they struggle to find time for anything other than their work. Can the Fab Five help them devise a plan to grow and market their business while still caring for themselves? You betcha.
And then there’s Rob Elrod, a widower who lost his wife to breast cancer and is raising two boys on his own. Luckily for him, the guys are there to help him cherish his late wife’s memory, while coming up with a new approach to life as a single parent.
And those are just a few people impacted by the Fab Five this season—can you believe?
Queer Eye returns to Netflix for its third season on Friday, March 15.
