Queen Rania Shares Rare Throwback Photos of Her 4 Children

Queen Rania just shared not one, not two, not three, but four never-before-seen photos.

Earlier this week, the 50-year-old monarch celebrated Jordan’s Mother’s Day by posting four rare pictures on social media.

The slideshow features four different photos—the first is a portrait of Queen Rania holding her oldest child, Crown Prince Hussein (who’s now 26), as a baby. The second pic shows a candid moment between the monarch and her daughter, Princess Iman (now 23).

The third picture is a black-and-white throwback of—you guessed it—Princess Salma (now 19), followed by another snap of her youngest son, Prince Hashem (now 15). In the caption, Queen Rania wrote, “I see my whole world in your eyes. Happy Mother's Day.”

Fans immediately flooded the comments section with celebratory remarks for the European holiday. “Stunning photo of a mother and her babies,” one person wrote. Someone even referenced Queen Rania’s resemblance to Kate Middleton, writing, “You look just like the Duchess of Cambridge!”

Queen Rania is the wife of King Abdullah II of Jordan. During an interview with Hello! magazine, she revealed that she’s using this time of social distancing to get closer to her family. “Like so many families, we were grateful to be together, but also heartbroken to see the pain and loss this virus has inflicted on so many around the world. On my birthday, as long as the people I love are nearby, and they are healthy and safe, I could not possibly ask for more.”

Welp, they grow up so fast.
