Prince Shares New Royal Baby Photo in Birthday IG Post

Royal babies have become a common theme on my social feed, from the birth of Prince Ludwig and Princess Sophie's first child to Prince Ernst August Jr. and Princess Ekaterina's newborn daughter. Fortunately for me, this baby trend is still going strong, because yet another royal baby pic has been released on Instagram.

Queen Rania of Jordan celebrated her 54th birthday last week, and to honor the occasion, her son, Crown Prince Hussein, shared a new photo of the queen cradling her granddaughter, Princess Iman.

He captioned the post, "You instill in us everything that is beautiful. Every year, you are the light of the house. Forever grateful for your love and endless support. Happy birthday to my beloved mother!"

In the photo, the queen admires her granddaughter as she peacefully sleeps in her arms. One fan commented, "A whole life full of health and happiness, happy birthday!" Another wrote, "May God protect and take care of her, may our queen be blessed every year."

The Queen of Jordan and her husband, King Abdullah II, became first-time grandparents when Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa welcomed their first child, Princess Iman bint Hussein, on August 3. Following her birth, Hussein shared footage of himself holding the swaddled princess. The royals also shared a sweet photo of the king holding his granddaughter. The caption reads, "We are immensely grateful for the safe birth of our daughter and the health of my beloved wife, Rajwa. Our heartfelt thanks to our family and the Jordanian people for their kind wishes, which deeply touched us during these special moments."

Less than a week after her birth, Hussein posted new family photos with his wife and daughter. The first shows the proud dad posing alongside his wife as he holds their daughter in a car seat, and the second feature a stunning portrait of both parents looking at Princess Iman.

He wrote, "He who does not thank people does not thank God. Thanks to Nishami Royal Medical Services for providing medical care to Rajwa and Iman for the past period. Heartfelt thanks to the dedicated personnel of the Royal Medical Services for their exceptional care over Rajwa and Iman during the past few days."
