Queen Consort Camilla’s Grandchildren Take Part in Coronation Ceremony

The coronation ceremony was quite the family affair. Today, we watched as Prince George, 9, served as a Page of Honour, becoming the first future monarch to ever have a role in a coronation ceremony. However, he wasn't the only grandkid in the spotlight. Queen Camilla also invited her three grandsons—twins Master Gus and Master Louis Lopes, 13, as well as Master Freddy Parker Bowles, 13—to serve as pages too.

Royal followers watched as the three youngsters took part in the procession through the Nave of Westminster Abbey. Then, the quartet also joined the family as they stood on the Buckingham Palace balcony following the ceremony.

While the queen consort is step-grandmother to all of Prince William and Prince Harry's kids, she is also a grandmother to five other children from her first marriage to Andrew Parker Bowles.

Camilla's daughter, Laura Lopes, and her husband Harry Lopes, welcomed twins Gus and Louis on December 30, 2009. Meanwhile, their cousin Freddy is only two months younger, and he is the youngest child of Tom and Sara Parker Bowles.

While three of the queen consort's grandchildren were front and center, her great-nephew, Master Arthur Elliot, 11, was her fourth and final Page of Honour. He is the son of Ben Elliot and Mary-Clare Winwood, and his grandmother is Camilla's sister, Annabel Elliot.
