Queen Camilla Steps Out in All White (Again)—& I Noticed Something Special About Her Accessory

White is her new go-to color

Queen Camilla just stepped out in an all-white ensemble (again) and accessorized with a meaningful accessory.

This week, the 77-year-old royal and her husband, King Charles, stopped by the Sydney Opera House during their official visit to Australia and Samoa. Queen Camilla wore a flattering white dress by Fiona Clare, which featured black piping that accentuated the pleats of her skirt.

Although her dress resembled others she’s worn on the tour, it was her gorgeous gold brooch that really caught my attention.

As Hello! magazine noted, the accessory was a gift from the Royal Australian Corps of Military Police (RACMP). The present held a special meaning because Queen Camilla is the regiment’s Colonel-in-Chief, and this was her first time visiting the country since assuming the position. By pinning the brooch to her dress, she subtly honored the RACMP throughout the day’s activities.

The outing came just one day after Queen Camilla and her husband, King Charles, greeted a group of well-wishers at the “For Our Country” memorial in Canberra. The queen wore a stunning white dress by Anna Valentine, which featured black and silver details along the sleeves and collar. She looked divine in her all-white ensemble, but I couldn’t take my eyes off her diamond and pearl brooch because it previously belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth.

What thoughtful accessories.
